How to Create a Living Locket

Every locket tells a story, what is yours?

I have to admit, it’s a bit overwhelming when you’ve been at a jewelry bar or event and stop by the Origami Owl table. For me, my reaction is like “give me all the sparkly things!”.  If you’ve been wanting a locket and not sure where to start, let me give you a few tips.

  1. Where would you like to wear your locket?  On your wrist as a bracelet, on your wrist as a watch? Or around your neck as a pendant?
  2. Locket metal colour: Silver, Gold, Rose Gold or Black
  3. Picking out charms to tell your story – which charms represent you, or your family? Is there a particular story or journey you’d like to keep close to you?
  4. Personalizing: We have plates that sit inside the locket which you can engrave with a special saying or quote, family names, GPS coordinates of a special place.
  5. Accessories: do you have a chain you can wear your locket on? We have plenty to choose from! Would you like to add a dangle?  Beautiful sparky earring?  The options are endless.

Have you purchased an Origami Owl locket or accessories?  Let me know in the comments, what you purchased and what it means to you.

Hi there and welcome to my blog!  I decided to give blogging a go as I am very passionate about helping others reach their goals, stray outside their comfort zones lol and share in my journey.  I’m a fairly quiet, reserved, shy kind of person, who doesn’t like public speaking (who really does? I’d like to know!).

I’m a wife, mother of 2 and I work full time.  Future dog owner and world traveler  (my dreams!).  And I have this side biz with Origami Owl.

As an Independent Designer (ie. Rep), I share my love of their jewelry and accessories with others. There is so much potential here in Canada for Origami Owl.  If you’ve ever thought about starting a business which you can do from home or on the go and love personal, meaningful, empowering pieces of jewelry, let’s talk.
